At the start of June

We made a Memorial Day visit to the National Air Force Museum in Dayton after the sad realization that our suburb's much loved parade would be cancelled due to rain. The trip was a huge hit with everyone, especially a great IMAX movie about Hubble.

The little boys were worn out by it all:

Elbow had her year end violin recital on Sunday. It was her first time playing with an accompanist and without tapes (to show where to place your fingers on the strings).  It was lots of fun and two of her friends even showed up to support her. (Below: practicing before we left in front of her best neighborhood buddy).

Waiting for hair cuts:

Summer plans for us include: VBS, Tae Kwon Do, a Writer's/Illustrator's Club one of the girls' friends started, lots of time at the pool, some serious road trips, and a few closer camping adventures with for the over-three-crowd and their Daddy.
