So the little man turned one on Friday. We had the party on Saturday. It lasted about five minutes - just enough time to devour some cake (most of us gave up sweets for Lent, but figured a first birthday was occasion to forego that) and open presents. The Patriot had almost no interest in the presents, but he had plenty of sibling help for that.
Nana was also in attendance for the big occasion. We continued the celebration today by taking The Patriot swimming and out to dinner at a Japanese Steakhouse.
