Pulling in just over 2000 miles later

Yes, we put in 2136 miles over the last two weeks and lived to tell. (That's not to mention the 7.7 miles Hubby, Papa, and I canoed with the oldest three in the wilds of Wisconsin.  Turns out I'm not that skilled with a paddle. The poor unfortunate soul stuck in the front of my canoe ended up in the bushes and brambles along the river more often than not).

I'm now drowning in all things domestic: laundry, grocery needs, mail, cleaning, and catching up.  And of course the oldest adds, "I can't wait to start school - are we starting Monday?" So, some plans have to come together too, but that's for another post.

Here are a few pictures that capture our epic adventure in Wisconsin and Minnesota:

Worship at home while we waited for Hubby to finish up at church,
Toddzilla led us in a rousing rendition of "Til The Whole World Hears"

Bobo and The Patriot very ready to get into the car and drive, drive, drive!
Lots of time in these seats, thank goodness for car naps

Turns out The Patriot loves big, lake-smelling dogs like my brother's

Also turns out Toddzilla is quite a fisherman

and that The Patriot likes boats

Both Bobo and Elbow got up on water skis for the first time

And everyone loved seeing their one and only cousin (middle)

Getting ready to tye-dye shirts with the Mt Carmel counselors
Also waiting for their best friends from Fargo to pull up
(Send pictures Nan and Becky!)
