A Child's Geography

The girls and I are reading A Child's Geography of the Earth by the oh-so-inspiring Ann of Holy Experience.  We're "mailing" postcards home as we travel through the earth's atmosphere and peer down at the continents and oceans below. (Postcard templates come with the book's CD-ROM).

Generally speaking, we save our history read-a-louds and our science studies for evenings when the loud and rambunctious set are asleep.  Toddzilla is on the fence; sometimes he's in, sometimes he's out.  Our little science group finished Land Animals of the Sixth Day early, which is why we now have time for extra geography.
