The only big development is our shrinking bank account thanks to an initial visit to the orthodontist with my oldest. I can't believe I'm at that stage of parenting. She's getting a palatal expander and some braces on her top, front teeth. With four following close behind, I have a feeling we'll have "orthodontia" as a budget item for a long time.

My dd will be having the same ortho work done. She's already had 5 teeth pulled to make room - it really helped. Anyway, her next appt is in July and then I'm quite certain 'it' will be starting.
My oldest ds was just referred after his last dental appt. So, they both have an ortho appt the same day. No gradual budget for this family ... just jump in with both feet & hopefully open eyes!
I love the quiet of summer (kids outside most of the day!)

We have nothing going on here as well. Lots of outdoor play which is oh so nice. For some reason my kids are just better behaved outside.
I see lots of ortho in our future but at least I only have two. ;)
