A Balmy Halloween

I'm not sure I've ever sent my little trick-or-treaters out the door without a jacket before last night.  It's quite wonderful to actually see everyone's costume; we're used to little tiaras and long princess skirts poking out from under down jackets and ear muffs.

I will say, my neighborhood seriously knows how to do Halloween.  The dads head off with the candy seekers, the moms hang out in front of one prominently decorated house and pass out treats.

My girls went out in short sleeves last night! In Minnesota!!! Usually it's a mad scramble come All Hallows' Afternoon trying to find gloves, hat, tights, etc.

Not last night, though. It was great.

PS. Those little trick or treaters of yours sure are cute. :)

Ours was quite warm as well. We had snow a few weeks ago and now we didn't need coats on Halloween. We definitely needed them when we were in Nebraska last year.
